The exchange platform has been running on the Turkish market since 2013, allowing its users to buy and trade Bitcoin and Litecoin for Turkish Lira and deposit these coins on their user accounts as well as transfer them to external wallets.

Koinim was being developed at a rather stable pace but the latest popularity boom for cryptocurrencies—which resulted in a huge influx of users and traffic to the application—forced the owners to adapt more quickly to the market.

With the growing number of users and traffic, the overall reliability and performance of the platform became a serious priority. The Team started to analyze the performance issues and implement improvements. After several production releases, the first of which took place less than a month after the kickoff, we implemented gradual changes to increase the daily capacity of the application by 300%. This means that the platform could handle 4 times more user sessions, which directly impacts the income from the product.

This achievement convinced Koinim to turn over the development fully to STX and to include us in their vision of a large, stable, multinational exchange platform offering many more cryptocurrencies to trade.
