Teams in STX Next are located in a single room and range in size up to 10 people. Team composition depends on the project and its technology. Usually this means Python, JavaScript, Android or iOS developers or a mix of them. Each team has its own Product Owner, Scrum Master and at least one QA Engineer.

In STX Next we use many tools (e.g. Jenkins, JIRA, Intranet) which helps us measure progress and draw conclusions.
These develop the actual application. They’re responsible for picking up issues from the sprint backlog, implementing them and ensuring they’re tested and eventually released. They’re also responsible for peer-reviewing code and generally ensuring the quality of the delivered product is high.
QAs ensure features and enhancements are implemented according to the user story, based on story acceptance criteria they prepare test scripts and ensure everything is fully tested before stories are signed off. They report any bugs they find and ensure those are addressed.
(Proxy) Product Owner — takes care of the product backlog and is in constant contact with the client, ensuring we’re building the right thing. Product Owners can answer any questions the team may have about features to be built, bugs to be addressed, priorities etc.
Team Lead/Tech Lead — this person is usually the most senior developer in the team, he’s responsible for answering and resolving any technical problems the team or client may have.
Scrum master — is in charge of the process. He facilitates all scrum meetings, reports progress to the client and removes any impediments the team may have.
