"Raising a Killer Bot; or, Training AI for PvP Games

In this talk, Tomasz will show some techniques used to train artificial intelligence to play player vs player games in which bots compete against one another. You'll learn about the challenges involved in measuring performance against other players and not the game itself. Tomasz will also try to create the best player policy and find out how to score a perfect headshot with every attempt.

AI Everywhere: Deploying a Machine Learning Model on Edge

There is much more to blockchain than just Bitcoin. Not only are there countless different blockchains out there, but they also go beyond just cryptocurrencies. Sebastian’s talk will introduce you to the world of smart contracts and show practical applications of the blockchain technology. Sebastian is a full-stack expert employed at STX Next since 2017. He was a speaker at PyGotham (New York) and PyCaribbean (Dominican Republic). He also wrote a book about Clean Architecture.

Moving Banks to the Cloud: Why and How

In his talk, Piotr will highlight some of the problems facing the complex architecture of bank IT systems. He will focus on the architectural concepts and the solutions applied in the industry, including microservices, orchestration vs choreography, good practices, as well as common transformation-related problems.

Open source solutions are not limited to technical libraries, frameworks, and systems. In this talk, Bartosz and Mikołaj will demonstrate what product development in such contexts looks like and how React Native is helping them build an app. This will be the story of the Friendly Plans project. The story of open source, community, and technology—from the perspective of both developers and project owners.
